The seventh modification, Chrome Fuel Door

PT Cruiser Chrome Fuel Doors - no two are ever the same (apparently).

I've been after one of these for a while. Ever since fitting the Chrome Belt Line, I just wasn't happy with the way the belt line went over/around the fuel door. For some reason, it just didn't look "quite right".

Chrome Fuel Doors comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes from plastic stick on ones that go over your existing door, to metal covers that stick on, to billet aluminum replacement doors to stainless steel doors. There are quite literally loads to choose from with all sorts of finishes and patterns. The one I have here is made out of polished stainless steel and the whole thing shines, mounting arm included. It is also very "OEM" to look at and is simply a chrome replacement for the original (to look at).

Dead easy to fit, secured in place by two Torx bolts, a five minute job at the most.

Before, with the chrome belt line on it:

Fuel door replaced with polished stainless steel / chrome version:

Which even has the OEM belt line indent in it:

And shiny on the inside too:

There we have it, chrome belt line vs fuel door problem solved!

Modifications to date: Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth Hands Free Phone Kit, Debadged Tailgate, 'Semi-Stealth TomTom' Satellite Navigation, Chrome Wheels, Chrome Belt Line, Chrome Indicator Bulbs (Front).
